The Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources, Nong Lam University HCMC in cooperation with Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science, Okayama University, organizes short-course as follows:

1.     Duration: 08-15/03/2021

2.     Training method:

For lecture topics: Online by Zoom platform, the link to join Zoom class for each topic will be given the night before the class. 

Fieldtrip: The student will gather in the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources, Nong Lam University HCMC to board coach/bus for fieldtrip.

3. Course theme: Environment and Sustainable Development 

4. Number of participants: 25-30 (young lecturer/Master student/Final year Bachelor student)

5. Language of teching: English

6.   Course benefit:

- No fee/charge included from organizers 

- Opportunity to contact with Japanese professor for academic knowledge 

- Improve practical knowledge in environment-related area

- Opportunity to fieldtrip and lab visit

- Networking with like-minded young people 

7. Target group: Final year student, master student and young lecturer (without a PhD degree)

The field trip will be conducted by NLU, departing at 1pm 12/03/2021 from Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources and return to NLU, Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon of 14/03/2021. Participants are requested to be present at NLU for the departure. For those who live in Mekong Delta, you can arrange your own travel to the 1st visit site, which is Tram Chim Dong Thap (Đồng Tháp Province) upon consultation with organizers. All participants are requested to be present at Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources for the final day, 15/03/2021 to attend the closing ceremony and certificate awarding.
